We were originally was planning on staying at the KOA campground near Coeur D’alene, which is about 52 miles from the city. The whole camp site was really nice and we would definitely stay here again. Gave the map and showed me the site. Showers, toilets are clean with ample hot water. Loads of mosquitos- but you’re above a wetland.

Cabins looked fun as well. Canoes and firewood are complimentary .

We literally have 2 spots one for my car to park and one where we set up our tent! The canoes were great with new life jackets. And that’s what I am looking for when I am camping with my Families. (It was built before huge RVs were the norm). LOL!!!! There are limited walking/hiking areas unless you want to unhook and drive to a trail. The location is close to theWe stopped here overnight (2x) on the way to and back from Montana. And for a campground.... it is almost crazy clean!!!!! It actually never been to a site such as this. The entire campsite is on a hill, the spots are extremely close together.

The smell of campfires where a great welcome scent as we set up to stay for the night. There are oodles of things to do like swimming, biking, hiking, canoeing, boating, fishing, walking, scenic areas, historical areas, and it is not very far from the city life (about 20-30 minutes out). They also have access of their lake with a free canoe and kayak... we didn’t have a chance to try it out... We used their laundry room and it was right next to the pool and the other main bathroom... very convenient Did I mention that they provide you with unlimited FREE firewood?!!!!!!!! I called few times and I spoke with 3 different people to ask about the camp in general. The canoeing into a reed and forested area with wild geese is totally relaxing.
