The best part, I am in a power wheelchair and the cables get caught up all the time and I would say this guitar has been knocked off my studio sofa and dragged halfway around the room and it stays in tune and other than a small paint scratch and chip, it still looks great. The yellow gloss finish is vrey nice, and I really like the styling which is a retro throwback to the old Gibson Melody Maker. I wanted an extra guitar that I could leave in the car without worrying (too much) about theft, that I could leave at work, etc. Super deal . The Golden Era returns with the Original Collection. Details about Epiphone Les Paul SL Sunset Yellow ENOPSYCH3 Guitar . The fret ends are fine. With a slim, lightweight poplar body and Epiphone Ceramic pickups, the SL produces a great sound while still being easy to handle. The fretboard was ok but a little dull and dry which is typical of entry-level guitars, so I treated it with some nice wax-base wood polish and conditioner and it now looks great. The strings sucked, but I would have changed them anyway. As well as the lightweight body, the SL also has a bolt-on mahogany neck with 22 medium-jumbo frets for convenience while playing.
