It's opened my eyes to the vast difference in not only how we are, but also why we are, why we say/do/respond and hear or interpret in the ways we do. I understand that the authors wanted to keep things as scientific as possible, not relying on anecdotes to communicate their points, but honestly after reading through every single chart giving one more (nearly identical) component of type, I still don't feelI found this book repetitive, dry, and unhelpful compared to other things I've been reading on type theory. This was an amazingly insightful and intriguing book. I've been dipping in and out of this book for a few months and finally finished it.
For those involved in using the MBTI for professional counseling purposes, this book has some great little interpretations for the use of the MBTI in relationship building. The assumption that this is about drugs is preposterous.

I would suggest not just reading it but really study it. Gives you some insights into your personality. This book is phenomenal and exactly as it promises to be in every glorious way. I've shared it with others, too. Probably will never read it again. I'm thinking 3.5 stars here.

I personally found the "dry" aspects (as others put it) the most useful. Boy, this book just changes my perception about types almost entirely. Not that it isn't interesting, mind you.
