The performances and choreography by the lead actors are excellent and I found the film to be very moving; I can only hope it gets a wider release and finds the audience it so badly deserves. My favorite movie this year.

There is a lot of acknowledgment of the homophobia LGBTQ people face in Georgia - nevertheless it manages to create little spaces of acceptance (I won't spoil anything), little utopian whispers, almost as if the people who made this were students of Jose Esteban Munoz, so it's not all homophobic doom and gloom.

I loved this film.

I wish I was still in school, I would totally write a seminar paper on this film. In order to navigate out of this carousel please use your heading shortcut key to navigate to the next or previous heading.

I cannot think of a single criticism about this film.

The arrival of the talented and rebellious Irakli throws Merab off balance, sparking an intense rivalry and a forbidden desire.

I absolutely loved this film when I saw in the cinema; I would put this in my top 10 favorites of all time, & so glad I bought the dvd, the bonis interviews are great !

Best coming of age first romance movie since Call Me By Your Name.

There is so much hope and optimism here, which I completely did not expect. Certificate: 15A

Terrible film for children or to watch with your wife

The acting is fantastic, the dancing, THE DANCING, the story is so deeply touching, it manages to take an old, over-done storyline and somehow make it fresh.

Young farmer Johnny Saxby numbs his daily frustrations with binge drinking and casual sex, until the arrival of a Romanian migrant worker for lambing season ignites an intense relationship that sets Johnny on a new path.

With Levan Gelbakhiani, Bachi Valishvili, Ana Javakishvili, Kakha Gogidze.
