One of the ones I keep showing to peopleA film from a director of China's so-called Fourth Generation, though he made it in the late-1980s, well after the emergence of the next generation, and it's unfortunate that his directing career never really got underway, because this is a really striking film which almost seems to look forward to the Sixth Generation by telling an urban story of alienation and disaffection (set in Beijing).
