When you check out google maps, the nearest exit to Hongdae shopping area is exit 9, but when you navigate the map wherein you see the actual street/images, the exit shows exit 5. There’s a flea market every Saturday from March to November which is really close to the Subway exit… unfortunately I didn’t have a Saturday there! I tried only street food at EwhaMay I know how convenience the free wifi in Seoul..? Hongdae shopping is mostly done, fittingly, on Hongdae Street (or Hongdae Shopping Street as it’s even more fittingly known).

We stayed at Do not buy your skincare products anywhere else in Seoul or in fact Korea – if you have to buy cosmetic/skincare products, buy them all here in Myeongdong. ... That's why you can find many artistic little shops and cafes on the street here. The exit itself is small and is linked with the overground via a long, walk-up only staircase. Seollal celebrates the lunar New Year. Seeing how it supposedly originated from Korea, I was surprised to see how few Bingsu stores were actually around.
