Our hosts at the pousada were outstanding and we enjoyed wonderful meals too.
But if you want a warm castle experience stay at the Pousada in Obidos. I think there are only two true "Tower" units in the castle hotel. Keep me signed in
One room even had a fireplace where we could go out on the balcony and watch the sight and light show on the local church (we were there during the Christmas holiday). With a stay at Pousada Castelo de Óbidos - Historic Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Obidos, a 2-minute drive from Obidos Castle and 8 minutes from Barata Feyo Museum. Food was good but not exceptional, my lamb cubes on Rosemary skewers was nice but for 6 small cubes of lamb 35 euros was a bit steep!!
