Its close proximity to the Aviva stadium makes it the ideal location. We were upgraded which was nice but we were put into a dormer room on 4th floor, very small window that only opened a few inches and no air conditioning. I made sure to thank her in person when we arrived and I am so glad I did, so friendly and charming. The hotel was far from full so why put us into that space knowing it was a warm one. Couple of letdowns this time: I asked for sandwiches or something small to eat at 5pm, didn’t want much as we were having dinner at 8:30 but they could not accommodate my request, I was told I could have dinner early at 6pm. Sandymount Hotel is the closest hotel to Aviva Stadium with amazing views from our bar terrace and the front of the hotel.Aviva Stadium reopened its doors on 14th May 2010 and has a seated capacity of 51,700. We had dinner in the restaurant on the recommendation from Toni and this did not disappoint. After having to unfortunately cancel our booking back in March due to Corona Virus and with the hotel being so helpful we rebooked to stay.
