It is not possible to confirm at this stage if Cambridge will use UCAS Adjustment in 2020, but if our Colleges still have places available once the outcome of all examinations are known this summer (2020), then Cambridge will use Adjustment, as originally planned, if it is still offered by UCAS.UCAS Adjustment allows students who have met all the conditions of their conditional-firm offer, and exceeded at least one, the opportunity to be considered by other universities without jeopardising their place.As part of our continued outreach and access endeavours, Cambridge will consider applicants through Adjustment from UK domiciled students studying at UK schools, who applied in the 2019/20 admissions cycle, were interviewed by a Cambridge College and whose applications were flagged as meeting our widening participation criteria.
