The dune formation rises 240 feet above the lake. It is located right next to the bathrooms...yay!.....but....the fan on top of the facility is ridiculously LOUD!! A summertime favorite, Warren Dunes State Park offers 1,507 acres of dunes and lakefront camping. Weko Beach showcases 40-acres of wooded dunes and 960 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline in the City of Bridgman, Southwest Michigan. My dog was being bad and so were the others but it was worth it.

And close gas stations for a drinks refill. Lake Texoma, probably one of the larger lakes in the area is .6% the size of Lake Michigan. Bring water shoes since entry to water is rocky. Very little parking, so people park almost a mile away and walk to the beach after 11am or noon each day. The campground is perfect for a summer getaway, and the cabins are fitted with electric. Camped here in late August when we could not get the trailer into Warren Dunes State Park. Nice area, great beach, very pretty. It's one of my places to visit during the summer.
They leave you alone if you're in the water, which was cool but not unbearably.

The Yacht is inspected by the US Coast Guard and DNR annually. Sorry for the long read ;)We really like this beach, it has nice amenities and its always clean. If you're in Bridgman, either living or renting, then the walk isn't bad and there are sidewalks the whole way! Friday nights they have bands, theres a nice scenic overlook and it is adjacent to Warren Dunes. Parking can be a bit dicey on the wrong weekend in the summer. Maybe a primitive site, away from the horrible fan, but cabin #5.....no. as long as they are either caged or leashed. I don't think we would come back to the same cabin. Odd mix of seasonal and nightly campers. We have been in business since 1969! The Weko Beach is very nice, clean and the campsites are a short 5 minute walk. So there. Warren Dunes State Park Just 2.5 miles south of Bridgman, Warren Dunes State Park is a must-see attraction. Pets are welcome here at Weko Beach, however we ask that the pets not be taken onto the beach or in the water. ALTHOUGH the beach hardly exists anymore ! There are some great views on the dunes where you can overlook wonderful Lake Michigan, and summer is a great time to get here. If you dont like the chaos of Silver Beach this is a good alternative.A wonderful, friendly, small town beach. All the joys of nature with modern comforts. "Our evening was so fantastic. Kinda inconvenient when people would like to actually camp and they can't because someone puts a chair up for 4 days with a note that says reserved on it.I don't get to go to the beach much, I'm from Dallas, Texas. where you can overlook wonderful Lake Michigan, and summer is a great time to get here. Staff is great!! :("This place has a close location to Silver Beach and was reasonable, exactly what I wanted. There's a creek and wood for the bigger kids to explore just behind the primitive sites. Clean and uncrowded. The cabin...once we found it (the check in staff just handed us the key and rules, but didn't point us where we needed to go), was very clean as were the bathrooms.

Campground sites were way too close together. Less crowded, but not as primitive, as there seems to be more bros partying and a much more built up concession area. Pets are allowed on sidewalks, campground areas, etc.
