Cinemark But when the atoll starts flooding, no one is safe from the double jaws of the monster. That there are many new attractions in Sharknado 2 is admirable and while they are fun to watch a lot of them are too short in length and are further hindered from pretty bad to awful CGI. Summary: Sharknado 2: The Second One is hilariously ridiculous, entertaining and it's filled with cameos; although it lacks the charm and genuineness of the first installment. The shooting in various places in New York City do give the movie a better looking backdrop. Part 2 was much better than the 1st. In the end, this movie is pretty much at the level of the first movie. I mean in the grand scheme of things that's not exactly an achievement, but it's pretty odd to think that a second film with the subtitle "The Second One" would actually elevate the franchise somewhat. The film is directed by Anthony C. Ferrante, and stars Tara Reid, Ian Ziering, Vivica A. And a fun one. Ok first of all, the cgi and acting is so trash. The sequel is packed full of them, and they're clever and witty. It's a stupid, stupid movie, but also, in its own way, rather smart. However, in some aspects the movie is worse.

Will there be more of these? Here we are with the sequel to the "infamous" B-movie that tore through social media in 2013.  Of course, no one would ever say that the first film was any good.  While I wouldn't consider myself a fan of purposely terrible movies, instead of taking that same effort and actually trying to make something that's good.  With that said, I found the first film to be perversely entertaining.  There was just a charm about it that made how bad it was oddly entertaining.  I wouldn't ever watch it again, but for a one-off, it was amusing nonetheless.  I can't say that it pains me, but this is just a terrible movie that just wears the joke out past until it's simply not funny anymore.  It's the law of diminishing returns and this started even before the first film ended.  It was a thin concept that just BARELY made it through the first film.

Faring best were Matt Lauer and Al Roker, who are both riots as weather channel commentators. 6 out of 11 found this helpful. Please enter your email address and we will email you a new password. The acting is actually quite good and dramatic.

It was perhaps inevitable with the success (financial, not critical) of the first "Sharknado" movie that we would get a sequel. Hilarious, fast, funny, fresh fun for the family. Instead of the reunion with his wife and her family, Fin will be busy with his heroics...this time with the help of an old flame named Skye(Vivica A.

And they spent all this money trying to get these well-known celebrities to appear in their film to legitimize it, somehow. The acting, the dialogue, the characters, the sharks, the story, the whole concept. And there are some amusing moments, particularly with the many cameos by various celebrities. The acting is still positively dreadful, Judd Hirsch provides the only legitimate laughs in the entire film, the special effects are laughable, the writing would make Quentin Tarantino's head explode. Sharknado 2 was fast paced and action-packed!! The crowd was laughing and clapping throughout the film.

As a New Yorker perhaps my opinion is biased, but I really enjoyed Sharknado 2: The Second One. I can imagine that after the national viewing tonight that the war raging in Isreal will likely sease and a wave of global peace and harmony will overtake the gentle minds of a soft warm generation. The theme songs were awesome!! Anyone who says that has obviously never seen a good movie. That’s a 1 hour,30 minutes movie. A freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites - and only Fin (Ian Ziering) and April (Tara Reid) can save the Big Apple. 6 out of 11 found this helpful.
