Fire: The Multimedia Journal of Black Studies 1(2):64-110. This movie is hard to watch, especially for those who mourn the growth of hatred in this country. This movie deserves more than five stars for several reasons: First and foremost because it is based on a true story about a part of this countries history back in 1923.

Secondly, the acting is excellent with established stars such as Jon Voight, Don Cheadle, Ester Rolle and Ving Rhames in his best role ever.
