James Purefoy is perfect as Farfrae; I immediately started to cast him in other TV adaptations: Little Dorrit for instance, in place of McFadyen. Anyways, when I first saw the show media thing I said to myself was great another show with lea Michele, and I don't mean that as a great!

It left my husband and I needing to discuss the questions the book raised, such as the problem of evil and where it starts. This is a lavish 2003 production by A&E which stays true to the characterization and flow of the story in Hardy's novel. You want to check out a good show?
