It looks like you are missing the event name from your IFTTT setup. However, the trigger needs to be from another service.
i also opened a help ticket with iftttSame here.
i found that other services had restrictions of 100 messages per day.

"I've tried removing and re-adding the Service, and even tried with other Google accounts. Every time I test an applet, I get the "We can't check your applet right now" error. That problem is now gone, but since a few hours the values are not logged correctly since every applet now seems to have added an extra ' at the beginning of the output (resulting in a text string logged instead of a value).I'm not sure but I think that "sheets" used to be a service within "drive" before, but it's now listed as a separate service, maybe this could be part of the problem...or maybe I just don't remember right...Alex here, from IFTTT. In mine that works, it says: If MyDevice published Temperature, then add row to spreadsheet in username@gmail.com's Google Drive Where Temperature is the event name that is published in my device like this: All the entries were there.
