STUDENTS RETURN TO CAMPUS FOR FALL SEMESTER AS OF AUGUST 30. She is a Professor Emerita at Rhode Island School of Design, where she taught graduate and undergraduate students and has been a frequent critic and lecturer at many national and international schools and institutions. Currently, Holly shoots with a Canon Mark II 35mm digital camera and utilizes Adobe products for the developing and production of her artworks. Holly Hughes joined the RISD faculty in 1993 and taught graduate and undergraduate students here in addition to presenting lectures at many other institutions in the US and abroad. Her photographic artwork is created with a digital SLR professional camera and digital software to process, develop, and edit her pictures. Dancing is fun and provides social interaction with peers who have the same interest. A foundation in outdoor signs and billboards led to murals and more. GO TO Holly Hughes joined the RISD faculty in 1993 and taught graduate and undergraduate students here in addition to presenting lectures at many other institutions in the US and abroad. Hughes has traveled extensively and studied traditional ink painting of the landscape as well as calligraphy at the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou, China.
